My current work is inspired by my fascination with the sky – the moon, the celestial night sky, the sun – and sees me move to a much more expressionist and abstracted form of painting.  Using many layers of paint, energetic use of colour, mark making and impasto effect, I’m able to create paintings full of energy and passion.  A lot of my moods, thoughts and emotions are expressed this way and it becomes therapy. 

In some paintings, a person may feel they can see an entirely different world within the painting to next person, and that to me is the beauty of abstraction.
